Poll question: What's your coffee brand?
Mine's Mello Joy, the original Cajun coffee my mom sends to me. :)

14. 8 o'clock best Supermarket coffee
Fair Trade (DK the exact name) stuff that I buy at our church if I can get it is the best non-supermarket/inconvenient coffee.

Information here

Somebody at our church orders it in bulk and resells it. Quakers are big suckers for this sort of thing.

23. Seconded, and Cafe Fair too
The local coffee shop in Mt Horeb servers Alterra and sells the whole beans. I like Madisonian Cafe Fair Guatemalan too. I try to stick to fair-trade coffees whenever possible.

10. Cafe Dumond on Decatur Street at 2 in the morning
with warm Beignets; bleary eyed tourists seeking a little respite from the Bourbon Street revelry a few blocks away. A beautiful, yet eery view of St Louis Cathedral. Cars going fast, cars going slow. The smell of CDM coffee. Heaven. A Starbucks moved in down the street; closed up less than a year later and got out of town.

11. Depends on my mood
I tend to buy an Italian or French style.

I hate Columbian beans - I don't know why, there's some nasty taste in there that just doesn't work for me.

Sometimes though, for a more sublime taste I get a very light coffee (but mucho expensivo).

At the moment I am drinking Tops brand coffee. I try, as my budget allows, to go for a Free-Trade blend, usually Caribou or Javana.

26. Stumptown roasters whole bean for home
I like the organic house blend, because I'm unimaginative.

If I'm at work, I drink Starbucks. Double-tall nonfat latte for the morning, iced doppio for the afternoon.

Cheap Starbucks hack for summer: instead of paying $3.25 for an iced grande nonfat latte, just order an iced doppio, then slosh the milk in at the fixins bar.

but when I can, I try to buy Fair Trade and/or organic. Yesterday I bought some Seattle's Best Fair Trade/Organic French Roast. It's usually around $8 a pound. If I could afford it all the time, I'd always buy FT/O.

43. In Minneapolis, Peace Coffee French Roast, which is
fair trade, shadegrown, roasted locally, and delivered to local food coops on bicycles. Besides, it has a rich, slightly chocolately flavor.

When I lived in Portland, I preferred Peet's Garuda blend.

52. Green Mountain Coffee Roasters (organic and free trade)
They have a blueberry flavoured coffee and a Pumpkin Spice flavoured coffee.... both are just awesome with vanilla creamer! :loveya: Pricy, but damned worth the money- organic and free trade. If anyone is interested, all you coffee lovers check out http://www.greenmountaincoffee.com/ . Every flavour I have tried has been delicious.

Unfortunately I can't afford them very often (and generally my mother in law buys some and mails it to me) so I usually just buy bland Marsh brand coffee and load it up with plenty of flavoured creamer and sugar! :7.
