So, I ruined my diet in 17 minutes flat.
Today was Employee Appreciation Day in the break room at work, and the theme was "A World of Thanks." The menu consisted of Ziti & Meatballs, Pork Stir Fry, Chicken Fajitas with beans & rice, broccoli salad and cookies. I somehow managed to go on a high-carb bender, and now I feel like garbage. x(

2. Write it off as a "cheat day" and go for a second round of vittles.
You'll still feel like garbage, but it'll taste good!

9. Whaddaya mean you feel like garbage?
Do you feel sick from overeating? Or just guilty?

If it's guilt, fuck that shit. You took a break from your diet.. BFD... just remember to stick to it when it's not a special occasion.

To be honest I don't even think diets are a good idea... just portion control, healthy choices and EXERCISE!

Feel better, Beast Man.

:pals:

13. Aww...
The only food that makes me sick... well not a food, it's a drink... is mocha... I love it so, but I can't drink it on an empty stomach.

Can you have a nap at work? That might help. :)

need a nap room. My husband has one at work... don't think anyone uses it though. I used to "meditate" occasionally in my office.

27. I meant as a the latest fad diet ( not a necessary diet for illness)
people need complex carbohydrates, from what I have read. It just seems unhealthy to me.

26. I am allowed some carbs.
Fruit, grains, and potatoes are out for the first two weeks. Eventually I am allowed to re-introduce "good" carbs (fruit & whole grains) back into my diet. I'm pretty much theough with refined sugars and enriched grains.

I was mighty skeptical at first, but in the last 4 days I've noticed a big difference not only in my weight, but in my overall feeling.
