"Dancing with the Stars" has to be the lamest-ass show on TV
First, I love watching ballroom dancing. I wish I was more coordinated to do it myself. So I thought to myself 'How bad can ballroom dancing be on TV'. The concept was neat - get a few dance-pros and hook them up with a few b-list stars and WHAM! you have would could be a great show.

But they fucking RUINED it!! How? I don't don't want to see Tango being danced to a fricking Destiny Child's or Whitney Houston song. I want to HEAR real tango (waltz, rumba, etc) music when they dance. There is plenty of amazing dance music out there but ABC has to dumb down the show because god forbid we have these idiots dancing the Rhumba to like real rhumba music when we can have a cheezy-ass musik-stylistations of some lameass hit from the early 90s to dance to

Almost makes American Idol look like a decent show

2. I have Strictly Ballroom on DVD
which they have them dancing to some modern music but the movie is so wonderfully written & directed that you overlook it.

5. Center Square! Center Square!
I saw a documentary about Kevin James and Ray Ramano playing at the Pebble Beach pro-am last night. On one hole Kevin (King of Queens) got some of the gallery to chant that at Ramano, it was very funny.

6. "Hit Me Baby One More Time" officially bypassed it last night.
First it was that talentless Vanilla Ice, now they want to resurrect a one hit wonder disco singer. Shit, they'll probably have Shaun Cassidy on next week

10. The music is lame, but I give credit to the B listers, b/c most
of them are learning these dances really well. Rachel Hunter was a very good dancer and should not have been voted off. However, Holyfied couldn't dance worth a flip, but I give him props for trying.
