The guy returned yesterday and the coil had iced up again. He thawed it and found that the thermostat was wired wrong so that it wouldn't cut off. It welded itself shut or open. Anyway, he fixed it and I'm chillin'.
The bad news is that the condenser is on its last legs and the blower blows, or doesn't. $3k. But I can wait a bit. Wow, that's a relief.
