1. Morgan is beautiful!
Can I ask a serious care issue? Do you ever take vacations? If so, what do you do with the birds? I understand that they get heartbroken if you leave them. Some pull out their feathers. From what I heard, they take separation much harder than a cat or dog.

4. yes, she is ~ thank you
I take vacations, quite often I take my love Miss Frodo with me>

most parrots do miss their person ... we have never boarded any of our birds because one of my house-mates is always home however if you have a place that you trust - boarding a bird isn't the worst thing. It might be less stressful for the birds if you can have a friend house-sit while you're gone.

11. Oh, God damn, what a bummer.
But at least her owner was doing something that he / she enjoyed; my father died of a heart attack while he was bass-fishing. If you gotta go...

How nice of you to adopt the parrot. That big old wheel of Karma is turning your way...

14. Welcome to DU, Morgan!
Can you say "DU rocks"? :)

Congrats on your new family member, Joan! He's wonderful! I hope he soon recovers from the loss of his dear one...

16. DU rocks . . . DU rocks . . . DU rocks !
I'm sure she'll learn to say DU rather quickly because DU is spoken here frequently.

Morgan did live with my housemate earlier in her life so it will be better for Morgan to be here instead staying with any one else. She'll feel like she's part of our family soon.

:hi:
