So.. what are you doing tonight?
I'm making a batch of candles. Anyone want to buy one? :) Hubby is bartending down at the bar and my 2 yr old is throwing a fit cuz she doesnt want to go to bed (way past her 9 pm bed time). She wont go to bed until he comes home to give her a kiss and hug or she falls asleep waiting.

So yeah.. my friday night is boring. GO ME!

19. YUP! Shes a Sphynx. I'm actually adopting one from a Sphynx rescue
based out in Ohio this week. Hes a 2 yr old that has been passed around because no one wants to put up with his demanding attention (cant be any worse than my sphynx now) and the one guy who had him his wife made him get rid of the cat because he was too high maintenance for her. Have to bathe, clean ears, nails, etc. on a weekly basis. So I decided to give him a permanent home where he can live his life out happy and care free.

23. I think they're cool looking
But now I guess people are trying to breed them on purpose (to make money of course) instead of letting nature take its course.

26. They are a natural genetic mutation from what I gathered..
Breeding them still can produce cats with fur.. Mine has fur on her tail and legs.. you can see a little on her face. She grew it after I got her fixed. The cat I'm adopting has a full face of fur but bald everywhere else.

They are a different breed of cat.. both in looks and personality. So friendly too.. I dont think theres a mean sphynx out there.

10. That doesn't sound boring to me.
If you think about it, being around a two-year-old can be exhausting, frustrating, or a bunch of other things, but it's rarely boring.

Right?

Having a two-year-old kind of forces you to live like they do,
doesn't it? Ninety miles an hour until you collapse into bed.

Enjoy it while you can.

my fragrance. He didnt give her a kiss tonight before he left - she was pre-occupied with her coloring book so he just said bye and she grunted at him and said BYE real short. So now she was calling for him and not the happiest camper.. keeps saying daddy kiss good night. Soo cute.. I could smack him tho.. I dont like her being up this late but she'll fight me tooth and nail so theres nothing wrong with her on my lap falling asleep imo :) too cute!

28. Cooking and Eating.
I raided the cheap $1.00 produce quick sale markdowns . I got lots of veggies and fruit. I got a humongous pineapple and huge papaya.
4 Eggplants, 7 peppers, 6 zucchini, 8 summer squash,3 tomatoes, 8 portabellas, 2 cauliflower heads, 5 artichokes.

I just went in to the store to get some peaches that were on sale and I walked out with tons of stuff. I'm just roasting up all the veggies with some onions and I'll eat them with my meals for the week.

I have organized clothes and other items for vacation, cleaned the kitchen, finished the laundry, edited a paper for my husband, and collected some garbage. Oh - I also made a grocery list.

Eventually, I will have something to eat after the kids are in bed, then I'll watch Iron Chef. It's Battle Eel tonight.

How's that for exciting?

I'm 30 weeks.. have to hang on another 6. I have pills from my ob to combat the contractions but I read that they can cause brain damage and other problems so I take them ONLY when they start becoming timeable. I dont think I drank enough water today so I'm hoping this stops after my water intake tonight.

57. The water should help.
Dehydration is a common cause of contractions at that stage. Are you prone to premature labor? I hope the little one stays put for a few more weeks.

All three of my kids were born one day before 40 weeks.

exactly. My son was the worst.. I was in the hospital at LEAST 2x a month after my 5th month with preterm labor. He has a 90% chance of survival right now with medical intervention but I rather avoid that route if at all possible.

It feels like he dropped already.. my belly isnt as round as it was last week. I go to the dr on monday so I get to find out whats going on. He might just be like his father - rather impatient :)

no t.v., no, radio, no fridge. I have hooked up with a neighbor and incredibly I can get through to DU tonight. Last night I went to bed at eight because there was nothing else to do after dark. Tonight with the help of a neighbor I figured out how to hook up with
DU. I opened a bottle of wine and am celebrating. So in candlelight and flashlight...long live DU!

71. My girl starts kindergarten in August.
Luckily my wife got a job as a teacher in our hometown so she will be attending the same school as my wife. It is hard to let go.

70. I'm reinstalling an entire XP system
including a full software package, on a computer that was trashed by a virus.

What fun. I can barely restrain myself. :sarcasm:

It's a living.

75. Alas for me-- I AM a technical support line
I own a one-man computer repair business. At least it's fairly easy on me-- my workshop is in the room next where I live.

73. Pining.
I love that word. I can't understand why it isn't used more often.
