Somewhat blurry baby skunk pictures

I took a couple this evening with my camera phone but the little buggers romp around so quickly, it's hard to get a decent shot. They have absolutely NO fear and I was trying to get a shot as they all bounded down the trail towards me but they were at my feet in no time so it was hard.

Here's one momentarily paused on the trail -



Blurry, I know. And here is the whole gang, or at least several of them, grouped around my feet. Since I was looking down at them, it's just kind of a group of fluffy tails! They like to nibble on the leather laces on my shoes!



I'll keep trying to get decent shots - hubby's camera makes a sort of whirring sound and alarms them so I need to get a quieter camera.

1. a skunk dens under my house every year and usually...

...brings her babies out into the backyard about this time. They're amazingly cute-- they come up on to the back porch with mama (who I shooed out of my kitchen a couple of weeks ago).

we had some living under our front cement step slab last yr - I think the little buggers came back tho. They would start stirring around 8:30 (or was it 9:30).

aaaahhhh run away!! no, actually baby skunks are pretty cute.
