The view from here this morning . . .
It's 7 a.m. here, just as some of my DU friends are slipping off to dream land. Sweet dreams, sleepy-heads . . .

8. My cat thinks the "birding" opportunities are outstanding.
And I'm sure the Ticino Bureau of Tourism would love to have your money. :hi:

9. Sweet!
An earlier DU'er suggested that we go to Iran and hawk effigies, and I had to take a rain check, but I'm sure there's a strong effigy market in Switzerland too...

10. There's a very strong market in this
very Catholic, Italian-speaking part of Switzerland for likenesses of the Holy Mother. But I think, for entirely different reasons, the market for * effigies is wide open and waiting for an entrepreneur like yourself.

11. I'm all over it
like my friend said last year, "Sure Bush is a uniter..."

Who else would have brought the Catholic regions of Switzerland and the Islamic regions of Iran together in common cause?

for me about living near water, and still being surrounded by mountains. :hi:

6. Beautiful, Paul!
There's a shade of green on the hillsides outside of Zurich in the late spring that I've never seen anywhere else in the world. Takes my breath away.

Where was the photo taken, if you don't mind me asking?

15. Sorry for the delayed response...
We were driving from Germany to Italy. We crossed thru Switzerland but only stopped for gas unfortunately. I really don't know where this was taken but it's right off the main highway leading to Italy....The A-6? A-8?

14. Oddly enough . . .
there are parts of Switzerland that look like "home," like the photo SouthoftheBorderPaul posted above. :)
