Baby squirrels..
on my kitchen window. I tried to get the pictures without scaring them. These are the tiniest squirrels I've ever seen.

7. i "adopted"
a family (mama, papa, and baby) of squirrels this winter.

they were black squirrels, but i made a point in the morning to go outside and make the noise that always gets any squirrel's attention and they would come running usually (i fed them).

their fur is really soft.

11. Yes, they come up to me too (of course, I carry nuts with me)
but they will come right up to me. However, these are NYC squirrels, so they are pretty bold.

I have an easier time with chipmunks - they will crawl right on my shoulder, but I don't see them very often, unless I go way upstate.

I think animals can tell if you are kind and won't harm them - you must be a very spritual person. :)

4. My first thought was ..
I'd LOVE to bring one in and play with it .. LOL but common sense dictates. Now I know what's been driving my cats crazy for the last couple of weeks! I thought they were watching the birds!

8. Oh your cats would LOVE a
baby squirrel to play with! LOL. They are messy and difficult to keep out of everything but they do raise up well. I was working at the Zoo and someone brought him in. I took it home and bottle fed him and kept it for a while and then released it outside the keepers area. He stayed around for a while but I think he finally found a lady friend and then left. I got very attached to him.

Aren't they just adorable though?

9. Cute little buggers
I have squirrels who come up to my front door in search of peanuts. Thanks to Costco-sized bags of unsalted peanuts, they are well fed.

10. I love baby squirrels (and fully grown ones, too)
I want to get my hands on them and squeeze them, just gently, not to harm them, but you know that feeling when something is so damn cute and you just want to squish it a little and feel that soft little belly ...

Okay, I may need some professional therapy here.
