Whilst driving today through BushCountry
Edited on Sat Jun-25-05 04:11 PM by TexasLady
I saw a big family from out of state standing in front of the great big billboard of the Bushes they have there in Crawford getting their picture taken. I drove by really slowly and told my daughters that its too bad the tourists came all that way for THAT! I wish "I" had a camera with me so I could have shared it with you all.

:puke:

5. You Are SOOOOO Correct!!!
You must have been very close to my old stomping ground, Ft. Hood, TX.! It's only about 40 miles from there. I went to school there and graduated from Killeen High School. I've been back several times for Class reunions, but each time I'm so disgusted!

Molly Ivins and I had a conversation about this place..... she called it "the same old shit hole it always was"!

If it weren't for my old friends and classmates, I would NEVER go back there. Austin, TX, on the other hand is a totally different story. Quite nice! It has some hills.

I say that tongue in cheek, I live in Florida.... no HILLS AT ALL!!!!!
