That is going to be used for special ops insertions. Drop off a SEAL team. It's only likely practical purpose for the navy.

Yes, used by 'Special Boat Units' for S.E.A.L. delivery. been around for a while.

(Oh, and to the person on the web site complaining about giving secrets to the Chinese... first off, the boats are well described in 'Jane's Fighting Ships' which you can by for about $200. second off, you can look on the Navy's web site and find them. Third off, for the cost of a good hotel room, you can get a good look at them with binoculars in San Diego. The Chinese know about them. They aren't idiots.)

He probably has an SKS loaded with Norinco bullets under his pillow, waiting for the day he can fight the Chinese on the beachhead.

China will need a lot of these to secretly transport all 2,300,000 soldiers over here.
