7. I am a certifiable Star Wars geek...could not go to Celebration III

due to serious lack of fundage at the time. I will admit I own a force fx lightsaber and will soon own a Jedi costume that is being made by a woman in Georgia (after I can find a tailor who will do the needed measurements)....that being said...the captions were classic.

Some of the costumes were quite well done.

What would this same guy say about Green Bay Packer fans or any other fans of pro or college sports? People there outfit themselves in jerseys of the team most could only dream playing on. Sports fans paint their faces and wear odd wigs. Is that taking sports fandom too far?

I met a kid a couple of weeks ago who had Jerry Garcia's face tattooed on his leg. Is that taking being a Deadhead too far? His goal is to have the faces of all members of the Grateful Dead tootoed onto his body.
