He was named after one of my favorite people in history: Abbie Hoffman.

Technically his name is Abbie, but he's such a bad putty cat that I didn't want to use Abbie with negative things like yelling at him to stop scratching the furniture or abusing Evita (my other cat). But I was calling him Abbott so much that he only recognizes that name.

I looove doggies! I am more of a big dog person, but I just moved in with someone who has a small dog and he's really growing on me! He's my little pal! (I like small dogs, it's just that I have grown up with the big ones and would probably get a large dog if given the choice)

I always had medium dogs. Weenie is my first Pom and let me tell you, I am in love! Oh my gawd, she is the most special, sweetest, lovable cuddle baby EVER!

She is so loving and affectionate, not yappy, sweet temperment, I can't live without her! And being so small, I love to carry her around with me, her delicateness just adds to her sweetness.

What kind of dog is your roomie's?

I hope you can get a puppy of your own someday soon! I was always more of a cat lover, but Weenie has rocked my world!

I'm sorry you lost one recently, right? the one in bed with the silly pose....I can see a real connection to you in his eyes...the way he's looking at you.

That connection to our pets--there is really something special there. They are so pure and innocent. (well, my most wonderful cat, Thumbs, who had to leave me many years ago, was not exactly innocent. She liked to purposely play pranks on me, then laugh at me. Like the time she aimed a really toxic fart in my face when I was sleeping. When I finally choked myself to consciousness, there was her butt in my face. And there was her face, literally with a "tee hee, you look funny when you're choking on farts" look. But she harrassed me with love. :loveya: )
