People are starting to ask questions about me.
Edited on Sat Nov-01-03 08:04 PM by HEyHEY
My sister saw an old friend of mine at a party who was quite concerned. All she knows is that I quit my job and don't go out the way I used to or return phonecalls anymore.

So, my friend was askin my sister what the hell is the matter with me. It's funny how perspective can be. I'm not returning calls because I'm not a big phone talker and can't spend money to go out.So there's not much point in calling people. I quit my job cause I couldn't trust my boss and didn't like him.

It's funny though how concerend a good friend can be. I guess I should cal her and go out somewhere wth her tonight. I miss her anyway, and have been meaning to phone.

ANyway just thinking out loud. I hope people don't think I've truly lost it.

1. It's good to get out in the world
and connect with your friends. You might be getting a little too isolated.

3. Alright young man!!!!
If people are starting to ask questions about you and you quit your job, don't answer the phone and don't go out then you are getting me a bit concerned as well.

Alienating yourself from others isn't real good for your mental health. I am glad people care about you. Call them back, have a short conversation and go for walks or coffee or things that don't cost a lot of money.

I get concerned about CLINICAL depression when I hear my buddies are holding too much close to the vest. ;-)

Use your freinds and loved ones to get you through it if that IS the case.

Conversations help.

8. As usual there's no arguing with NMSA's logic
certainly you have realized by now if everyonein the world did what she told them, there would be way lesstrouble.
NSMA knows her shit, and if she says go out, you damn well better.

Seriously, the first thing to enter my mind was clinical depression as well. What you describe are classic symptoms. Force yourself to return a call.

Avoid alcohol as well, which is difficult for a Canadian.

4. Going out doesn't have to cost a lot of bucks.
And if your friend(s) is worried about you, then you can always be square with her and say, - "I don't have a lot of cash to spend going out, -let's just go for coffee or catch a matinee and have popcorn for lunch."

7. Well I made use of the family sailboat last weekend
Tat didn't cost too much...I went alone though. But ended up seeing some buddies in another boat and rafted up for a bit.

14. There must be somewhere cheap to go out

Find the bars and clubs with drink specials. It only cost me about $5 a night to go out.
