Well it's my first weekend back reading a posting a lot on DU.

After being off the board entirely for a while.

My sore ankle has been acting up so I've been laid up doing nothing.

I read and posted a lot on GD and GDP also, but I feel like I'm getting rapidly cured of that...

It's not filled with obnoxious freeptards like around election time, but I guess reading and posting there just fills me with a (mild) sense of depression and futility.

At least there's good book/movie and food threads here.

And I can still aspire to create a copycat thread that will exceed the original in replies!

I've only started one thread in those forums since the election and have only posted to a few of other peoples' threads. I just don't have the heart for it right now. I'm sure things will change and I'll get back into it some time in the future, but right now I'm a lounge lizard.
