Yay! My potted brugmansia finally bloomed.
I took a liking to these plants even though they are bit harder to grow up here in the icy northwest weather. I had to bring them inside to overwinter them and one of them finally gave me a surprise.

2. You can, but would not want to.
Brugmansia and datura are in the same family and contain some of the same chemicals, but they would make you really really sick, in addition to getting you high.

6. It's a Charles Grimaldi
I also own a versicolor peach and a insignis pink, but they haven't ever bloomed.

7. Ooo
I have a couple CGs but they aren't old enough to bloom yet.

Is it perfuming the whole room? :)

5. Congratulations on the bloom.
I think they're beautiful. I recently planted a salmon colored one on the sunny edge of my shade garden. I'd say in the past four or five months, I've had 3 sets of flowers. Now I'm trying to plant around it to protect it from the winds. Am thinking I'll place a nadina behind it. Will it bloom for you indoors all winter?

8. It might. I haven't tried to overwinter..
....without letting them go dormant in the basement. As long as you don't let the roots freeze, the seem to come back after dormancy, but this year I am trying to keep them alive and productive. So far, so good.
