I don't know if it is local to Chicago or on Digital cable, but I really missed re-runs of this show. I love Green Acres as well.

8. I'm THERE! It's about time...

Back in the day, these shows were dropped because CBS was ashamed of its "rural" image. Beverly Hillbillies, Green Acres, Petticoat Junction...WHOOOOSH, all GONE.

Now they need to do a QUALITY Beverly Hillbillies release. There are some low-budget companies that have released "cheapie" DVDs, but the time has come for the "real deal."

Sorry about that. I am a few generations younger than the one that enjoyed Hooterville when it was first aired, but I love it now! Mr and Mrs. Douglas, The Bradleys, Sam Drucker and all of the others who made it just a "hoot" to watch:P

Bea Benadaret was the mom for the first few years until she died and was replaced by June Lockhart. Bea was a great radio actress and was the original voice of Betty Rubble.
