Ok, so I'm going to Paris at the end of July, and I was feeling crappy with my hair and glasses. The hair was below my shoulders, over processed and generally fucked-up, and my glasses were 10 year old Armanis which were disinegrating quickly.

So, I gathered all of my courage to go get the hair cut, and after 2 attempts, I got just what I wanted, for the absolute first time in my life. I have bad luck with hair people...

Then, I went out today and got new glasses, with the anti-glare lenses, and I love them!

So DU lounge lizards, say hello to the new moi!

I won a scholarship at my school to go for 3 weeks...I'll be studying at the Alliance Francaise for 2 weeks, and then I have a week to myself.

curly & wavy, with loose ringlet curls, naturally and in the right weather :P

but I have a penchant for dyeing it red, b/c I'm not overly fond of my actual haircolor...no more dye for me! that shit kills your hair!

I've always had long hair, and I'd like to get something shorter, but my hair tends to "poof" out when shorter, so I don't know what to do. Plus, I like the ponytail option -- it's convenient when it's hot or I'm exercising or whatever ...

and it did fine in the pixie cut. i used different products like putty and wax and pomade to do different things. slick it down, make little spikes, slick forward in a caeser.

but i know what you mean about the pony tail. mine is past my shoulders now and i end up in a ponytail every afternoon.

I had mine cut kinda like that a couple of years ago and I loved it. I felt so sexy. It's grown out to just below my shoulders now, and I am really considering either going back to the pixie or the stacked bob. I love short hair.
