y'think maybe there's a parallel universe next to ours where bush is cool? |
|
only the good bush has a goatee, and we have the beardless bad bush.
y'think maybe there's more than one dimension, maybe a bunch, all of which have a version of bush, from loving compassionate caring leader to our version, the scum of the earth personified.
too bad we're in the shitty dimension.

2. Either that or he isn't in the White House. |
|
He's just some guy whose draped over his neighbor's fence in a drunken stupor and everyone knows it.

5. There are serious scientific theories that say yes to your statement. |
|
For every decision made one way, there is a universe where it is made another.

It shows glimpses of some parallel universes, including one where Gore took office -- and one where Bush brings universal public health insurance to the US.
Personally I find the latter world way too improbable, even for SF.

8. I don't see him as being cool in any universe |
|
or compassionate. Maybe in another universe though he is a Steve Urkel type. You know where he has suspenders, his pants nearly up to his ears, huge glasses, and a funky laugh. Of course you couldn't call him a nerd because I think he'd be pretty brainless in any time or place.
Personally, I'd like it to be more like a Wizard of Oz, Bobby Ewing in the Shower sort of a deal. Where we are all just trapped in this horrible nightmare where Dumbya is president and he and his lackeys run everything. But then somehow by some miracle we will all wake up one happy morning, and there will be a Democrat in the White House and we also control the Senate, the House, and the Supreme Court. And all the former Republican leadership will be standing in front of doors across the nation, saying Welcome to Walmart because it truly is the only jobs they are qualified for . Thus the nightmare will be over and our dreams of a better future for our country will finally start to come true.
