Summer Cold.
I've been shivering all day (even though it is only 63 degrees out and I'm wearing a sweater) and can't get warm. My head aches (oh so bad) and my body feels weak. I've been crabby all day (I'm ready to bludgeon the chirpy condescending Yoga instructor with her rolled-up mat), and my inner ear itches. Plus I have the tell tale tickle/dry cough. This sucks... Now if only this yoga class would leave so I can lock up the gym and go home to bed.
Sorry. Just had to rant.

Try taking zinc to shorten the effects. Zicam works fairly well.

I gave the last of my Zinc lozenges to my brother a few weeks back.
Thanks for reminding me.
It never fails... the minute the weather is about to turn nice, something keeps me from enjoying the sun! I would at least like to open my sunscreen once this summer! :)

Used to be able to go to the Dr. for meds and get well in 7-10 days or stay home from work with aspirin and Chicken soup and get well in 7-10 days. Now I put the chick soup, aspirin, vit-C, zink, green tea, echinacea, and a bit of old age obstinacy on it quickly for a day or two and usually keep the old cold-flu bug at bay. Drs like to put old people away, at least long enough to endow the hospital with about 10 grand! PS-Spell check didn't go for echinacea but suggested Chianti, so might put that on menu too next time! LOL
