Question with the "West Wing"
Hi all. I've recently become a fan of the show and have all the first four season's. I noticed that there are six season's and was wondering if anybody knew when the other two were supposed to come out on DVD. Thanks in advanced.

1. No announcements that I've seen
I had the same problem last summer when I watched the first three seasons on DVD. I then used the Internet in all sorts of naughty ways to find the next two and a half seasons before being able to catch up for the end of Season 6.

Good luck, it's a great show.

2. I've got 1 -4, too. Don't think they have announced with season
5 and 6 will be released. They usually wait awhile so as to give Bravo TV (owned by NBC) a chance to reap some profits before DVDing them.

If you have not read any of the script books I would heartily recommend those, too. There are things in the shows that hurry right by that when you read a script you see and hear and understand the brilliance that went into the writing. Production notes give this non-industry admirer how extremely difficult these shows are to produce.

3. I can't tell you but its a good possibility that you may see at least 5
this fall. Movie releases are going to be slow this fall, so the studios are going to make it up by releasing a boatload of TV series DVDs this fall.

4. I hope so
Right now I'm watching "Buffy" season seven that I got for Christmas last year finally. But I can't wait to own the next two. I do have Bravo but right now they've been showing one's I've seen already. I don't know if it's any type of order or just scrambled.
