Holy crap...I finally started writing today.

Long story short: I always wanted to write a good script. I've written a few that have been optioned, but even I admit they're not very good.

I moved to BC in '95, with the hopes of writing solid episodic dramas. I never even tried, and I got caught up in making ends meet. Before I knew it, I was so immersed in the administrative side of the film/tv biz that I hung up my quill. And then I met the woman of my dreams, got married, got complacent, and got lazy.

Part of the problem is that I have had nothing truly significant in my life that I could put to paper.

But now I do.

So, maybe it'll suck, but I wrote fifteen pages today. Serious revisions will be in order, of course, but if I can write three good pages a day, I'll be happy.

Happier, at least.

So wishe me luck. If it gets made, I'm dedicating it, in part, to the DU Lounge.
