We have a new cat (kitten)

What I need to know is; Is there any domestic cat breed that has a naturally bobbed tail? Or do I have some kind of domestic/wild cat hybrid on my hands?

1. There is a Japanese bobtailed cat. Neighbor of ours had one.
Wonderful cat, big, sweet, lots of fun, lived to a ripe old age.

7. We had a half-manx cat when I was growing up
Had a stub of a tail. Never stopped him in the slightest. Great cat.

6. Sometimes manx cats mate with cats with regular tails
and you end up with bobtail cats. I knew a cat, Rosie, with a 1 1/2 inch tail because she was half manx, half regular short hair.
