ARGHH - MY FREAKING TOOTH BROKE IN HALF!!!!!! |
|
I accidently bit ashard of bone and it cracked a tooth I'd had a root canal on clean in half. One half is wiggling and loose like when I lost my baby teeth. The f-ing dentist can't see me 'til noon tomorrow and I HAVE NO INSURANCE!!!!!
I'm not in a good mood.

6. this isn't going to be what you wanted to hear, but it depends on your |
|
tooth. mine was cracked all the way to the root, and they had to pull it. they wanted to put in a tooth implant, but my insurance wouldn't cover it, and it cost over $2000, so i have a hole in the back of my mouth now. it's not that bad though :D

12. Well this one isnt clear in half but about 1/4 of it seems broken and loos |
|
e. Most of it seems fine. If they have to remove the loose part it would be in the back. This is a prominant tooth - the 1st after my right upper incisor. Oy vey!

4. Time to break out the morphine kit. |
|
That really sucks, CSTT. I recently cracked a tooth (which has since been replaced), and it was no fun.

I know that's not what you wanted to hear, but the restoration, before insurance, was about $1300.

8. You might want to try a local dental school |
|
Sometimes you can get the work done there for a much cheaper price

That's awful. Make sure you hold on to the broken part of the tooth. If they are able to just cement it to the good part of the tooth, that won't be terribly expensive. ($100 or so)
I hope everything works out...
