Oh fuck, it's got to be the power supply |
|
It just rebooted while doing a virus scan in safe mode.
My wife is not going to be happy at all.
This shit is going to cost me some money that I don't have right now.

1. What's the temp in the room? |
|
I have one system that can't handle the heat. Blue screens in the Summer. I call it my 3-season computer.

I fried my old monitor two days ago. Waiting for a replacement to arrive tomorrow. Right now I only have green and blue.
Never expected it to be this hot way up north...
Though I did move up here anticipating global warming.

3. Might be, you're short exactly one fan |

I had that problem, added a case fan, and the problem went away. Go figure.

Compaq, yes I have them. Special "Compaq only" plug for the MB. I have many. I've moved on to HP's now so my Compaq parts are now considered trash to me. PM me if you would like one.

7. There's a ton of places on the net you can check out: |
|
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/category/category_tlc.asp?CatId=106I've dealt with tiger before - they are ok. Your best option is to take out the power supply, find the EXACT model/part number & Google it.
