Anyone know how to get rid of ABetterInternet adware? |
|
I've used both of my Spyware programs, but deleting and deleting and deleting it doesn't help! It causes scads of popups and is slowing down my system.
I found several Web sites telling me how to uninstall it (dunno how I got it in the first place), and tried to find the files it told me to delete, and none of them seem to be on my system!
I'm losing my mind.

1. Remington twelve-gauge double-barrel shotgun. |
|
It's the only way.
Then go buy a Mac.

2. I have been spyware free for over 8 months now...here's how |
|
I installed Giant Software's anti-spyware program last fall and never had another problem. Giant was bought by Microsoft a few months ago and Microsoft is now releasing the application as Microsoft Anti-Spyware for free. Here it is: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=321cd7a2-6a57-4c57-a8bd-dbf62eda9671&displaylang=en

3. Chances are those files are on your system, but |
|
they're hidden because you, the mere owner/operator, aren't supposed to bother your little head with knowing about those things. Here's what to do: format your hard drive and install Linux. I recommend Simply Mepis 3.3, which I'm using right now.
