6. This is the church of "The Reliably Weird Signs"
I'm a Unitarian, so I'm insufferably smug on things like that.

:D

3. I like the 2nd half
What would it mean if America blessed God? How about "liberty and justice for all"? How about "loving our neighbors"? How about "doing unto the least of these" as we would do unto Jesus?

The other one "God bless America" implies that America is allowed to be materialistic, wasteful, polluting, internally and externally violent, intolerant, and so on, but God is expected to shower us with material blessings and the happiness we deserve, because, after all, God has a bumper sticker on his own Bentley that says "America: my country right or wrong".

9. America Bless God, was started soon after September 11, 2001.

America Bless God, was started soon after September 11, 2001. Our nation was in shock much like after the bombing of Pearl Harbor, on December 7, 1941. We were all stunned wondering Why? Why would someone want to destroy us?

As I have been growing in my faith, learning about God, country, life, and all that makes up our life, I have rediscovered that we, America, the United States, were founded as a God honoring Christian Nation. The men and women who came to this part of the world came with a vision from the God of the Bible. The vision was to have a homeland that was Christian. I know that many disagree, and say that America is a land made up of many different beliefs and many different philosophies, but if you do an honest search and study of our origin, you can’t deny the facts that America was established as a “Born-Again Christian Nation.”

This originated at a church here in San Diego; the Mission Valley Christain Fellowship. It was located in what used to be a large cinema in Mission Valley (it was the theater that I saw the original "Star Wars" at). I don't know where the new church site is, as the theater was demolished about a year ago and a parking structure has been erected.
