Memorial Services for Mr. James R. (Jim) Bell, Jr., 64, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday June 30, 2005 at the Cedar Crest Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA. with Rev. Greg Clark officiating, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.

Mr. Bell died June 24, 2005 in Dallas, Texas, after a lengthy illness.

Mr. Bell was a member of the Cedar Crest Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA.

He was retired from the International Union of Elevator Constructors and served in the United States Marine Corp.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dick and Doris Bell and his brother, Randy Bell.

Survivors: his wife, Cheryl Brooks Bell, Daughters, Rhonda Gillette and husband, John and Amber Bell; granddaughters, Alexa and Victoria Gillette all of West Monroe, LA; brother, Glenn Bell and wife, Carolyn of Baton Rouge, LA, and Sister, Marsha Powell and husband, Ron of Monroe, LA; several nieces and nephews and his special friends, and you know who you are.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM Thursday until service time at the church.

Memorials may be made to the Cedar Crest Building Fund or Northeast Baptist School(New Campus Fund) 800 Wilson St. West Monroe, LA. 71291.

7. oh definitely....they didn't expect me to be in all week......

...but had to make an effort as my bills won't get paid if I didn't get some hours in...and they've extended my tenure for the month of July as well to help me out too...they've been extremely supportive...I just felt like tryin' to keep busy...xanax is my best friend right now. :evilfrown:

My heart goes out to you...I know the pain you are feeling. the only comfort I found when I lost my Dad at 26,was my faith, believing my father is in a better place and he suffers no more.
