a "Minnesota Hooping Bug."
From the looks of things, I am far to the left of most here,
so I don't think it is political and I doubt that it is a bug.

I was curious, as a former Minnesota resident.

I thought I was being spoofed about noseeums, especially when I discovered that you can see them as a tiny black dot, but they have a big bite.
