Do T-shirt transfers made on your home computer really work?
My absolute favorite coworker is leaving and I have a great idea for a going away gift, but I've heard those transfers don't last long. Does anyone have any experience with them?

1. They don't last long the way a screen printed shirt would
But they don't fade instantly or anything either. It'd probably make a pretty neat gift.

2. They work very well
I have some that are coming on two years old and holding up well despite frequent washing.

Printed with an HP690 using HP x-fer paper.

5. Follow directions.
We used them to make some quickie campaign shirts a few years ago. Our biggest problem came that we wore them straight away rather than letting them sit for 24 hours ike the directions said to.

We wore them for a parade, hubby sweated a lot (it was something like a million degrees in the shade that day!)and his iron on RAN. I thought it looked kinda cool, myself--very Dali-esque--but it was not a suitable effect for a campaign logo.

They DO fade out, but ai am told you can SET that ink a bit better by washing it the first time in white vinegar...

Good luck, and what a good pal you must be to do this!
