What do you call people with hands-free cell phones (headsets)? |

Last year when I was shopping for a used car, I went to go see one where the guy selling had one permanently in his ear. He had it when we arrived, had it all through the test drive and inspection. I knew by then that I was not interested in buying his car.
Do I really want to buy from a guy who is so rude he is willing to take a phone call while I'm there to possibly drop thousands on his car?
Phooey on that!

8. I agree...and use one. |

When I'm wearing it, I always think "You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile".
On the more serious side, it DOES make it a lot easier to drive while talking...and i don't have to deal with holding the phone to my ear on long calls at home.

Somebody who can walk and talk at the same time. I love my bluetooth headset.
Unfortunately even hands-free users make lousy drivers.

I love my headset too. Looks a little funny, but it's so much better than holding a phone to your ear.

I always think they're nuts and try to give them a wide berth, as they appear to be chattering to themselves.

I can't stand to hold a phone to my ear for any length of time. I even have a cordless headset at my office.

See lots of it at the airports. No special skills or talents compensated for by artificial dedication, dressed in self-importance.
Is it clear i really don't like them?
