3. ROFL!!!
Remember the Pittsburgh Maulers of the USFL?
Their greatest attendance showing was when Cliff Stoudt was in town, so the fans could taunt him.

21. I guess some folks have good days and bad days.
Must have been a bad day.

And, despite his wretched politics, Swannie's a pretty decent guy. I met him in a bakery in Sewickley. He's a lot smaller than I expected.

18. Met Franco Harris when he and his business partners
made a sales call at our shop. Shook everyones' hand, photos, autographs, the works. Real gentleman, even after I shook his hand and told him that I hated Pittsburgh with a passion (Browns fan and division rival). He laughed and said, "I get a LOT of that around here!" Hard to argue with all the rings, though.

26. Who was the little wee kicker dude?
Rocky something, maybe...?

I mean, he's not the first that comes to mind, but I do often remember him. I was a HUGE Steelers fan when I was a kid (in the 70s, of course...what kind of weirdo is a Steelers fan these days? :P) and even got a full head-to-toe Terry Bradshaw uniform for x-mas when I was like 8. :7

And the only kicker I remember from that time was Matt Bahr.

PS- I resemble that remark. ;)

Pennsylvania prefers governors that know what the hell they are doing instead of puppets running for office who'll let the Bush Regime to do the job for them.
