Tough one, but I would give Field of Dreams the nod over Bull Durham

I watch it everytime it comes on TV. And I cry a little when they have a catch.

4. usually, women don't get that. |

At least the ones that I have talked with about that movie.
Them: "What's the big deal about throwing a baseball back and forth?"
Me: :eyes: "It's a father/son thing"

Yeah, I've heard that too. |

My dad taught me to love baseball. It's the only sport I care about. I guess the movie reminds me of me and my dad. Ooohhhhh.

Rhubarb about a mean ass cat that brings luck to a losing baseball team, and is kidnapped by the mafia to fix the series, starring Ray milan, William Frawley, and others. It happens every spring, another screwball comedy.

10. Field of Dreams is good, but it's not really about baseball |
|
the way Bull Durham is. It's more about personal journeys.

Michael Moriarty and Robert DeNiro. Kind of a baseball version of Brian's Song, except not as pretty. Great flick.

14. I saw that a remake of Bad News Bears has been made. |
|
It looked funny. With Billy Bob Thorton playing Walter Matthau's character. I know most remakes don't need to be remade, but I look forward to seeing it.

17. Long Gone w/Wm Petersen and Virginia Madsen |
|
An HBO movie, very good. An over-the-hill player, a sexy groupie, and a black player who has to pretend to be Puerto Rican in oder to play in the deep South in the early 60s.
