3. Whoever created that film had no education in mythology,
or special effects. Still, it's a fun watch. :)

12. I'm sure you know Ray Harryhausen did the FX
So if you don't like them, fine, no prob, but you can't say that Ray was ill-educated.

6. I'll never forget the first ten minutes of that movie
It was a point in my life when I suddenly realized that.....there had to be something else to do for the next hour and a half so I turned it off.

Really really bad.

16. That movie came out when I was 9 or 10
I remember going to see it for $.50 during matinee time at the dollar theatre. I saw it a bunch of times there, cheap, cool, summer entertainment & I got me & my sibs out of my mom's hair for a few hours.

That summer I thought it was the best movie that had EVER BEEN MADE!!

Ahhh....memories.

17. Did ET Come Out That Summer,...
or was it the next summer? I seem to remember getting concessions during COTT and gazing at a cutout with that round spaceship and its lights shining through the fog. Summer movies were the best. The big theater in my town, at the time, would run .99 Tuesdays and my friends would spend the whole day there.

ET did come out the following summer. Now, was that the golden age of summer movies or was I just 12?

Does Tanya Roberts look good enough in that movie? Not like Harry does any harm to the eyes either. My goodness, what good looking leads.

I loved that movie as a kid
it was right around the time I was starting to admire girls and I think I recall a scene where you could see most of the female love interest's breast from behind... I loved that.
