CBS has nothing to replace him with and Dave just signed a new contract with them.. Dave will always do whatevet he wants to do.. He does not like Bush, and he will never cave in to any pressure.. He has more money than he could ever spend, and when he quits likiing the show, he will just walk away..

2. That's why he's still relevant and Jay isn't... |
|
You don't hear the morning shows repeating many of Jay's monologues...
...'cause they suck!

8. I remember Bush being on his show prior to Theft 2000. |
|
Dave's disgust with Shrub was boiling out of my TV screen. Bush sucked, too....said something about Dave's heart surgery that was really gross.

9. Gross, hamfisted, nonsensical, and unfunny as his usual... |
|
Bush shot back with "It's about time you had the heart to invite me," an apparent reference to Letterman's recent bypass heart surgery.
Amid boos from the audience, Letterman shook his head: "You're winning delegates left and right, governor."
Leaving that joke, Letterman brought up one of Bush's many slogans: "You often say: I'm a uniter, not a divider. What does that mean?"
Without hesitation, Bush continued to goad Letterman: "It means when it comes time to sew up your chest cavity, we use stitches as opposed to opening it up." The remark produced more boos from the audience.

10. Blaaghhhh....that's it. |
|
When I saw that, I thought there was NO WAY that the American people would stand for that piece of trash becoming our American President. I think I've been more disappointed in the people (those that ACTUALLY voted for him) than anything in my life.

3. I watched Leno every night for more than 10 years |
|
and I thought the Clinton stuff was funny. But when he started kissing Bush's ass and having that creep Miller on repeatedly, with nothing for balance, I stopped watching. And I don't miss it. I sometimes watch Letterman, and I don't really get it. But at least he isn't a right wing butterscotch lifesaver.

6. I regret that I must inform you that he and Leno are both complete morons. |
|
And they appeal to more than a few morons. You are of course excepted from my semi-broad brush. :D

7. I just can't see Letterman doing that even if the execs// |
|
...pressured him greatly. I think he'd just take a hike before he'd let that happen. He had that near-death experience with his heart, now he's going to be a father. I think he'd just say "hell with this, you morons," and go play on a beach with the kid. Hell, he may do that anyway, I think.
