Did anyone else watch Count Duckula in the 80s?
I remember seeing these, I think, on Nickelodeon when I was a kid. I loved the comic yet dark subject matter and the characters' voices, especially Nanny. Their castle could time travel. Anyone else remember this series? :)

2. Yep
Count Duckula was a spin-off from Danger Mouse. He appeared a couple of times as a villain on DM. I remember an episode of Duckula where they went to Paris, and Nanny took it upon herself to paint the Eiffel Tower because it didn't look finished.

I didn't know it was a spinoff. Better go look that up. Thanks. :)

6. I don't know if spinoff is the right word

But I do remember his being on Danger Mouse a few times and then getting his own show.

ON EDIT:
Imdb.com lists it as a spin-off of Danger Mouse. I'm the obscure cartoon man!

11. I won a stuffed Count Duckula at a local carnival once...
Can't remember what game it was, pop-the-balloon,
ring-toss, or ironically picking-up-rubber-ducks.

He's about a foot tall and has suction cups on his
wings and feet... Similar to the Garfields at the time.

I thought it was *GREAT*. I was very excited to
win it... Everyone with me thought I was nuts as they'd
never seen the show and couldn't figure out a vampire
duck.

So, everyone else was driving around with Garfields
and I had a Count Duckula.

Funny you should bring this up today, I was looking
at it last night.

14. I was thinking about that show not too long ago
I loved it as a kid. For the longest time I couldn't remember what it was called and thought I might have been crazy and just thought it up. Then one day, "Count Ducula" popper into my head. Brought back some memories, haha.
