It's brutal in Dallas today - 107 deg.-- 100 in the shade.
Even the swimming pool water is a bit too tepid to cool off in.

But there's no global warming happening, so stop saying that!

4. Damn, I knew it was hot
I had no idea it was 107. I was working in an un-air conditioned building, with only fans for cooling. The past few days have been brutal here.

7. At 6PM, when I got in my car, the outdoor temp said 102
It cooled off to 98 as I drove.

(Houston area)

8. my car thermometer was 105 at 6:30. But was it over 100 at DFW?
You know it's not legal unless it is 100 degrees at the damn airport.

9. We went swimming today.
I was expecting the water to be cold. Silly me. It was like bathwater.

But it WAS better than broiling in the sun, so.....we stayed in until we were pruney.
