KGs computer question of the week
i'm my new position, looks like i will be handling the billing and recievables. not too complicated. we produce drawings, we bill the client.

anyone know a cheap, or free, easy-to-use program for this?. i'd want it to generate the invoices, too, if possible.

thanks!

1. I think Quicken makes one...
QuickBooks, I think?

Any office supply store should have a variety of products, though... most are very easy to use, too.

2. working in MS Access right now trying to set something, but never
used it before and still blindly muddling my way thru.

was hoping to find something cheap and easy to use, and already set up where i can just create a list of clients and fill in the blanks. i got better things to do than deal with a complicated system.

3. QuickBooks isn't Free!!!!! But I'll tell you what I did:
I called the software companies and told them I wanted to become a bookkeeper and I needed a program to study with. Timberline sent me their software for free! I've used QuickBooks for 6 years. It is a great program and very popular and users are in demand. But I don't know of anyone who gets it for free. I have that Timberline CD if you want me to mail it to you. I never used it but I'm happy to pass it along. Accounting programs are very simple and intuitive. I'm assuming Timberline is the same. I wonder if QuickBooks (Intuit) would send a "student" a free copy? Let me know if you want this disc.
