How many pens and pencils do you have??

As I look around my house, I have two places where I keep my collection of pens and pencils. I have about 30 to 40 at this time.

And you know, I cannot recall ever buying one of them...

1. I am a pen-aholic

I have waaaaaaaaay too many, but never can resist a new one :)

3. I can not go shopping at Office Depot because of I have to have

2. Two. I sweat, boss, only two

That's all were allowed at our desk, after some bright executive light found that his desk drawer was full of loose pencils and pens, and he did some quick math on what my employer spends on such supplies.

So we should only have two of each at any time. At least we're allowed a back.

And then they took the Post-It notes away. I mean, we've all got paper and tape, right?

4. I was at work 1 day and another employee asked for a pen

I couldn't find one on my desk, so I reached into my purse for 1. Once I started digging into my purse I found 18 pens, so I knew where all of my pens where then. By the way they call me the "pen thief" at work.

6. Okay...I counted, it's 37 for pens. 100 for pencils, but that' because

I buy my pencils in bulk. I am always buying pens thinking I don't have enough.

I have a kid in school and I am working on my doctorate, so every day we come in and unload into a basket. Never at a loss for pens here.
