It's snowing in my part of MinneSNOWta.... |
|
Yay! I am just excited! Not a winter sports person or anything, I just love the way it looks. We moved recently (July) and have been excited to see how our new place looks in all seasons, so this is way cool - woke up this morning to a winter wonderland and it's still coming down... Only bummer is I need new tires bad.... But I love it! Anyone else love snow??

Here in Denver, we're in our fourth day of cold and drizzle (high 30's) but no snow. Wish we had some!

2. I love snow only when it's the first snow of the year. |
|
I hate it when it's waist deep and has been there for weeks.

What is this snow of which you speak?
The only snow where I come from is the kind George puts up his nose. :P

4. I travel a long, wide, tree-lined road to get to work |

If it's snowed recently, and the sky is clear, the view in the morning is breathtaking. I also like the way the air smells after a snowstorm.

5. Damn near got killed to and from daughter's school though... |
|
Maybe I don't like it so much! Just about got wiped out by an elderly lady who lost control of her vehicle in front of me; she did about 3 donuts and missed my car by inches... Nobody hurt and no fender benders but I am still shaking so bad I can barely type...

Same darn thing happened to me. Country road, car coming at me fish tailed, went on the shoulder, crossed the center line, overcorrected, back to the shoulder, then started spinning like a top right at me. Early braking save me, I think.
My wife saw a two car accident, rollovers, everyone else I work with who drives in on country roads had similar tales to tell.
Why, exactly, are we in Minnesota? Crazy drivers in crazy weather. Don't say it often, but I miss Texas - Rick Perry and all. Ok, not Rick, though Timmie P is just as bad.
edit to say - get those new tires!
