I gotta revert to being a professional writer/editor and stuff, and also to being the best boyfriend in the known universe (instead of the most depressed one, as has been my specialty lately). DU has been my oasis for 10 months now, but because you folks insist on being so goldanged interesting, in spite of my requests that you desist from being so, I have no choice but to take a hike for a while in order to apply myself more fully to the goals described above. I'm not mad at anybody, nor even frustrated with GD, and love every one of you collectively and severally.

I did leave you a couple of my patented brain-damaged music polls to remember me by, as well as a very intelligent suggestion in Activism/Events that is currently plummeting to the Archives like a superball dropped from the Leaning Tower of Pisa (which would be really fun, by the way).

I'll be back when I have something intelligent to say, something published to show off, or in a week when I get bored. Email me if you need me.
