I can't remember what channel it's on, either Comedy Central or Oxygen, or both.
Btw, this is a lounge post, isn't it? :-)

The comedy is called Absolutely Fabulous and it's hysterically brilliant. I get BBC America so am lucky enough to get re-runs of it. Not sure if it runs on American cable, but there are plenty of episodes on video tape at your friendly neighbourhood video rental place.

They're the stars of British sitcom called "Absolutely Fabulous" that is funny as hell. I can get it on Comedy Central.
Think of Lucy and Ethel as rich, horny alcoholics.

5. On Absolutely Fabulous. You can find it on Kazaa |

Not that I'm advocating stealing, mind. Patsy and Edina are in real-life Jennifer Saunders (comedienne - of French and Saunders) and Joanna Lumley. If you don't know who Joanna Lumley is, then there is no hope for you! (think The New Avengers)

Roseanne was involved in developing an American version of Ab Fab but that was a few years ago and I don't know if anything came/will come of it. You can see the British version on many PBS stations or buy the DVDs. :-)

They cast Marianne Faithfull as God. That's my kinda religion. I think Anita Pallenberg was the Devil too. Me dig!

Terrific show. Was on Comedy Central a couple of years ago. Sometimes CC does a marathon on holidays.
Patsy and Edina. Here's what happens when you drink too much, do too many drugs and have too much disposable income. :-)

11. Absolutely Fabulous (aka "AbFab") |

Comedy Central runs episodes from time to time. Edwina is played by comedian Jennifer Saunders (formerly partnered with Dawn French). Pasty is played by the actress who appeared as "Poppie Fresh" in the Pillsbury commercials during the '70's.

I didn't like the first few episodes I watched, but then something clicked. And it is absolutely brilliant.

I watched it on BBC America - before I killed my tv. The full dvd set is (and has been for some time) on my list of "must haves".
I have a sound file of Saffy saying "Why are we suddenly getting so much mail?" as my "new mail" alert - much better than the standard "ding!" :)
