V - The FInal Battle

V - The short-lived TV series

V - the likely 2004 continuation miniseries

Which is the best?

Which is the worst?

The original was the best.

The Final Battle used up all its gusto in its first episode and even then there were glaring mistakes in plot logic... But then they had to do something to fill out the final 2 episodes so they made it into a soap opera, but that was okay. But all the references to "detained", "terrorists", and such make me think of Bushco* and corporate america.

I prefer to think the short-lived TV series never existed.

Then there's this likely 2004 update, promising to be a 'metaphor for the new millennium.' http://www.eonline.com/News/Items/0,1,11947,00.html
