Again!

It dates back to at least 1999.

2. I got it about 6 months ago.
The folks who send it are friends of mine, and it's always hard for me to "kindly" tell them it's a hoax. I always feel like I'm calling them stupid for believing it.

3. I got a version of it in 1995
So I stopped using Aspartame and foods that had it for six months, just to see if I felt better.

I didn't.

I don't doubt some people are sensitive to it, but the fear mongers are not helping the problem.

4. Apartame will give you stomach aches if you drink too much
But so will splenda, or sugar for that matter.

I just don't like it because it tastes like ass, and Splenda tastes much better...

5. forget aspartame, did you hear about febreeze?
i kills cats. i saw it in an email.

a couple years ago i went to visit friends and was greeted at their front door by a box of various cans of febreeze. i asked why they had a box of febreeze sitting by the door. she told me that she was getting rid of all of it because it kills cats, and probably children. then she asked me if i wanted it...huh? its so deadly that you need to get it out of your house immediately, but maybe i want it????

6. I consume a LOT of it, and I'm fine...
I drink at least 3-4 Diet Cokes a day, sometimes as many as 7 or 8. No stomach aches or any other problems from Aspartame, although I seem to experience withdrawl symptoms when I stop drinking it.

8. That would scare even me...
...and diet sodas don't scare me easily.

I have to ask, man - did you really like "Anchorman"? I stopped watching it after about a half hour or so because it was so excruciating.
