I am no longer working for the weekend
Now I'm just working for tight red leather trousers

2. I'm switching to Glide
Nothing matters but the weekend
From a Tuesday point of view
Like a kettle in the kitchen
I feel the steam begin to brew
Switchin' to Glide
Energy can be directed
I'm turning it up I'm turning it down
Even love can be affected
Harmony's the sweetest sound
Switching to Glide..Balancing in my head..inside of me...
taking the glide path instead.
Everybody gets the no-no
Hear it ringing in they ears
Lots of ways that you can go GO!
Look around NO disappears

The Kings are Here!

5. Greatest. One-Hit Wonders. EVER!!!!
"This beat goes on, this beat goes on...."

After "96 Tears", possibly the best song to feature a cheezy-sounding organ!

4. Man, did they ever suck on Hit Me Baby One More Time
yeah, I watched. What're you gonna do, fire me?

They just can't get it done anymore, as opposed to A Flock Of Seagulls on the same night; they never could get it done live!

7. Yeah, I saw that too
Mike Reno (singer) looked even fatter and uglier than I thought he would! But at least he sung somewhat in tune. Mike Score (AFOS) has not only lost his hair, but his voice too. Jeebus, Mike, quit gargling the razor blades already!

6. Still got the first two albums on vinyl
Hey, I'm 2 1/2 hours south of Canada here. Loverboy was huge back in the day. And while the red leather pants and oversized headbands might seem dated these days, the music sure holds up better than a lot of bands from that same era, like the Euro-synth bands, or the Motley Crues and Twisted Sisters (hair bands who no longer have hair)

13. I love Loverboy!
I have 3 of their albums on vinyl and last year, I bought their Greatest Hits CD. Their songs are so damn catchy! Yes, I admit it ... I'm an '80s rock freak! :headbang:
