(It says it feels like 94°, but I think that's a conservative estimate)

I drank my entire bottle of water just waiting for the bus. Jesus Tapdancing Christ it's fucking HOT.

Why can't I live in a mild climate?

So, fellow Texans and other people living in inhospitable environments, how hot is it where you are?

13. The humidity is certainly there for showers.
I bet the heat of the day kicks some showers off. I hope one isolates over my house.

22. it actually was last months on some days
imagine that!

but in texas they get some gnarly dew points and really HIGH humidities (NB 68% rel. hum., 62 degree dewpoint, and 93 degree air temp is so NOT hot).

i remember days in houston where the numbers where 98 92 101.

that is complete air saturation. the sky would like white, although there were no clouds in the sky.

Don't worry, m'friend, you'll get yours...when wintertime comes, it's -30 here and even through 5 layers of clothing I still get frostbite - you can tell me about how warm it is down your way...

27. I once dated a woman whose family lived in Winnipeg.
She would visit for Christmas and whine about how cold she was. Needless to say, I never went with her (primarily because we weren't that serious, but partly because it was COLD).

Oh well, every place has its plusses and minuses.

30. One gets used to the cold after awhile
I lived about 500 km north of here, and I barely noticed the cold until about -20C. That's when I had to put on the gloves. The -50C did get to me (that's about -60F).

I can't imagine not having snow in the wintertime - it's amazingly beautiful after a snowfall, or not having grown up with snowball fights and snow forts and always having to pee once you finally got into your snowsuit (sorry, mom!) :D

I grew up in southern Ontario, and the heat and humidity were way too much for me. I guess I'm a true hoser.

31. I spent some of my youth in Illinois.
I agree that snow can be lovely and a lot of fun, but since 1977, I've spent 3 years in Hawaii and 25 years here in Texas. Not much snow in those 28 years. :D
