Skinner has given me permission to post a request for donations for flowers from all of us for Andy's funeral. I have a PayPal account that I use for Ebay, along with a PayPal debit card that I would use to purchase said flowers.

Trouble is, I don't have any idea how to set it up so that people can access the account and make a donation. Anybody?

Also, Skinner also thinks that we will get way more money than needed, so we were thinking about making a donation in Andy's memory to a charitable cause that he would have supported. Will Pitt suggested something supporting election reform. I think that sounds great.

You may wanna get a fresh email addy from yahoo and you could even get a fresh paypal account to go with and this would keep all of the money seperate. :hi:

Then they can log on to paypal and send you dough.

5. Shops

you may want to check with PayPal about how difficult or easy it would be to set up a non-profit "shop" instead of using your own Paypal account directly because of the potential for "spam" problems - I agree with other comments that you might want to do a special email address just for this purpose and then delete it.

Otherwise, you can maybe ask people to do private message to you about interest in contributing and limit the distribution of your email address that way.

I don't know for certain but suspect if you already have a business account with Paypal it may be pretty easy to set up a "shop" for a non-profit for this purpose alone.
