So, we're back from the vet.
Everybody's fine, it's just the yearly exam and shots. As usual, Jenny cat was very quiet and docile and just let out a little meow, whereas Fannie cat squalled, screamed, hissed, tried to bite the vet several times, and generally made a big production of the whole thing. Which is pretty much inline with their little personalities; Fannie is much more dominant, intelligent, and she likes getting her own way, whereas Jen's very quiet and meek all the time. How do your critters deal with the vet?

1. Similarly.
My two Rat Terriers are very different. Gracie gets anxious the second she senses we're going to the vet. Greta is fairly oblivious, and only knows we're going in the car, which is usually a fun thing. When we get there, Greta just wants to be friendly with everyone, likes the vet, doesn't really notice the shots until after they've already begun. Gracie just gets panicky and tries to get away.

Overall, they do OK, nothing major. But very different reactions.

2. Thomas moans all the way to the vets. Once we get there and
we are actually IN the building, he gets all calm and sweet and looks out the carrier at the desk girls, who just love him.

He is always a perfect gentleman in the treatment room, the vets think he is just awesome.

Then we get back in the car and he moans all the way home.

I think he just hates the car ride.
