Today is my dad's death anniversary
He died on July 8, 1983 (also a Friday). I've now been without my dad over half my life. He'd be 97 this year were he living. I miss you, Dad!

2. Saturday, July 16 is my father's death anniversary....
I know how you feel, even though ours was just 13 years ago.

He would be 95 in November. I still miss him terribly.

8. It's always kind of a shock when you realize how long you've been without
a loved one.

I remember two years ago, I hit the year that marked the fact that I'd been without my mom twice as long as I'd been with her (she died when I was 14). That really made an impression.

I'm sorry. You never stop missing the people you love.
