Check it out if you're curious. Click the link, and then click the "discussion" tab at the top.

In case you're unfamiliar with Wikipedia, it's like an encyclopedia written by mass collaboration over the Internet, and the discussion page is where people working on the article (who could be almost anyone) discuss issues surrounding it.

7. Not verified as a hoax is (guess who)
Edited on Sat Jul-09-05 01:25 AM by uppityperson
Among those who have been verified as not being hoaxes are: William Rivers Pitt, a liberal activist, author, and owner of Truthout.org

Does that mean Will is an unverified hoax, a non-verified hoax, not a hoax, hoax a knot, maresy doats? I'm confused. I wonder if I've been verified as not being a hoax?

8. I miss all the fun. Was I in the bathroom when we decided to go on
a rampage? It only takes me a second to get my pitchfork and torch.

That is funny.

9. Reading the comment calling it an "assault" made it sound like a
planned, group event which when you read the threads it obviously was not. It was only a couple of people.

The Wiki people seem to catch it all and put it in context. They seem pretty sharp. It was amusing to read though.

10. LOL
Give them their due the wikipeople are trying to be fair and unbiased, kinda reminds me of religioustolerance.org

It was the criticism of DU that made me laugh. All the stuff that's verboten I've done. Pro-Palestinian, pro Dean, I even once (in heated argument) called another poster an asshole. I've used the C word, berated Skinner repeatedly in public, identified myself as a libertarian not a liberal. What does it actually take to get you tombstoned?

Apparently, I haven't figured that out yet. I mean, there sure as fuck isn't any conspiracy of political correctness or being required to follow the party line. I just had to laugh.

Khash.
